Job 30:17

The night racks my bones, and the pain that eats at me takes no rest.

I go to bed and I think: When will it be morning? But the night drags on, and I toss till dawn.

On the other hand a man may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in his bones.

Be merciful to me, Jehovah, for I am faint. O Jehovah, heal me, for my bones are in agony.

My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer. I cry by night, but I find no rest.

Your arrows have struck me. Your hand has struck me hard.

Until morning came, I thought you would crush my bones just like a hungry lion; both night and day you make an end of me.
