John 1:4

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead and giveth life: even so the Son maketh alive whom He pleaseth.

Jesus then told her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth on me, though he were dead, shall live again.

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

And so it is written, "The first man Adam was made a living soul." But the last Adam is an enlivening spirit.

When Christ, who is your life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

(for this Life was manifested, and we saw it; and we testify and declare unto you that eternal Life, which was with the Father,

And the testimony is this, that God hath given to us eternal life; and this life is in his Son.

And he shewed me a pure river of the water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God, and of the Lamb.
