John 11:16

Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellowdisciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

upon which his disciples said, master, it is not long since the Jews attempted to stone you; and are you for going thither again?

Peter said to him, Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for your sake.

but Peter said, though it should cost me my life, I never will disown you. and so said all the disciples.

Peter answer'd, Lord, I am ready to accompany you both to prison, and to death.
