John 11:5

now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

upon which his disciples said, master, it is not long since the Jews attempted to stone you; and are you for going thither again?

upon which the Jews said, see how he loved him.

as the father has loved me, and I have loved you: so do you persevere in your love to me.

for the father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I had my mission from God.

to them I have declared thy name, and will declare it: that thou mayst love them as thou hast loved me, and I have loved them."
