Jesus Predicts Peter's Denial

³⁴ I give you a new commandment to love another, as I have loved you that you also should love one another. ³⁵  By this shall all know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another. ³⁶ Simon Peter said to him, Lord, where do you go? Jesus answered Where I go you cannot follow me now, but you shall follow afterwards.
