Jesus Washes His Disciples' Feet

⁴ rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. ⁵ Then He *poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples’ feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. ⁶ He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Lord, do you wash my feet?"
