for every one that doth evil, hateth the light, and shunneth the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Then a doctor of the law objected to him, saying, master, your discourse is an insult upon us also.

the world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I plainly show, that their works are evil.

and be not accomplices in the fruitless practices of vice; on the contrary, condemn them.
