I know that you are children of Abraham; but you seek to kill me because my word has no place in you.

If you continue in me, and my words continue in you, you shall ask whatever you will, and it shall be [given] you.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching with all wisdom, and admonishing one another, with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God,

Wherefore, laying aside all filthiness and abounding vice, receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

I wrote to you, fathers, because you have known him that is from the beginning. I wrote to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God continues in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

I have come in my Father's name and you receive me not; if another comes in his own name, him will you receive.

He that believes in him is not judged; but he that believes not has been judged already; because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
