Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off.

And, behold, two of them were going, on the same day, to a village called Emmaus, distant from Jerusalem sixty furlongs.

And the wine-press was trodden without the city; and blood came out of the wine-press, even to the bridles of the horses, to the distance of a thousand and six hundred fur longs.

And the city lies square: and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thou sand furlongs: the length, and the breadth, and the hight of it are equal.

And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.

But when they saw him walking on the sea, they thought it was a specter, and cried out;

And while they were speaking of these things, Jesus him self stood in the midst of them, and said to them: Peace be to you.
