for as the father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the son, to have life in himself;

that they all may be one, as thou, father, art in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

for as by Adam all die, even so by Christ shall all be restored to life.

by this was the love of God displayed towards us, in that God sent his only begotten son into the world, that we might live thro' him.
