What manner of saying is this that he said, 'Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: And where I am, thither can ye not come?'"

Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: And where I am, thither can ye not come."

Nicodemus said unto him, "How can a man be born, when he is old? Can he enter into his mother's womb and be born again?"

And Nicodemus answered and said unto him, "How can these things be?"

The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, "I am that bread which is come down from heaven."

And the Jews strove among themselves, saying, "How can this fellow give us his flesh to eat?"

Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; Who can abide the hearing of it?"

The people answered him, "We have heard out of the law that Christ bideth ever: and how sayest thou then that the son of man must be lifted up? Who is that son of man?"

Then said some of his disciples between themselves, "What is this that he saith unto us, 'After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: and that I go to the father?'"

For the natural man perceiveth not the things of the spirit of God, for they are but foolishness unto him: Neither can he perceive them, because he is spiritually examined.
