"What is this statement that He said, 'You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come'?"
"You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come."
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?"
Nicodemus said to Him, "How can these things be?"
Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him, because He said, "I am the bread that came down out of heaven."
Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?"
Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, "This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?"
The crowd then answered Him, "We have heard out of the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how can You say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this Son of Man?"
Some of His disciples then said to one another, "What is this thing He is telling us, 'A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me'; and, 'because I go to the Father'?"
But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
