John 7:40

On hearing this some of the people said, "This really is the Prophet";

and the crowds replied, "This is the prophet Jesus from Nazaret in Galilee!"

They asked him, "Then what are you? Elijah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the Prophet?" "No," he answered.

Now when the people saw the Sign he had performed, they said, "This really is the Prophet who is to come into the world!"

Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.

The Jews were again divided over these words.
