“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to finish His work,”

Jesus told them.

Whatever your hands find to do, do with all your strength, because there is no work, planning, knowledge, or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

“From the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon, king of Judah, until this very day—23 years—the word of the Lord has come to me, and I have spoken to you time and time again,

but you have not obeyed.

So I sent you all My servants the prophets time and time again, saying: Don’t do this detestable thing that I hate.

During the day, He was teaching in the temple complex, but in the evening He would go out and spend the night on what is called the Mount of Olives.

When He saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain, and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.

At that time Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out with swords and clubs, as if I were a criminal, to capture Me? Every day I used to sit, teaching in the temple complex, and you didn’t arrest Me.

He then rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. And the eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him.

He got into one of the boats, which belonged to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from the land. Then He sat down and was teaching the crowds from the boat.
