Jesus *said to them,
“My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me and to accomplish His work.
Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with all your might; for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.
thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty-three years the word of the Lord has come to me, and I have spoken to you again and again, but you have not listened.
sent you all My servants the prophets, again and again, saying, “Oh, do not do this abominable thing which I hate.”
during the day He was teaching in the temple, but at evening He would go out and spend the night on the mount that is called Olivet.
When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him.
At that time Jesus said to the crowds,
“Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would against a robber? Every day I used to sit in the temple teaching and you did not seize Me.
closed the book, gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little way from the land. And He sat down and began teaching the people from the boat.
And all the people would get up
early in the morning to come to Him in the temple to listen to Him.
