Jesus Predicts His Death

²⁸ So Jesus added, "When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He. Of myself I do nothing; but as the Father has taught me, so I speak. ²⁹ And He who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone: for I do always what is pleasing to Him." ³⁰ As He thus spoke, many became believers in Him.
