A Man Born Blind Is Given Sight

⁶ Having said these, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and rubbed the clay upon the eyes of the blind, ⁷ And said to him, Retire, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is interpreted, Sent.) He went away therefore, and washed, and came seeing. ⁸ Then the neighbors, and those seeing him before that he was blind, said, Is not this he sitting and begging?
