Jonah 4:9

However God replied to Jonah: Do you have good reason to be angry at the plant? He said to God: I have good reason to be angry even unto death.

He did not look with favor on Cain and his offering. So Cain became very angry, and his face was downcast (he had a bad attitude).

She kept asking him, day after day. He got sick and tired of her nagging him.

To be sure anger kills a stubborn fool. And jealousy murders a gullible person.

You tear yourself to pieces in your anger! Is the earth to be abandoned for your sake? Or must the rocks be moved from their place?

I am so insignificant. How can I answer you? I will put my hand over my mouth.

He told them: My heart is deeply grieved to the point of death. Stay with me and watch.

For godly sorrow works repentance leading to salvation. This is a repentance that brings no regret: but the sorrow of the world works death.

Men will seek death in those days and will not find it. They will desire to die and death will elude them.

And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
