1 And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, - and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.
1 Then the second lot (a)fell to Simeon, to the tribe of the sons of Simeon according to their families, and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.

8 and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:

8 Also included were all the surrounding villages as far as Baalath-beer, in Ramah of the Negev. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Simeon, according to its families.
9 Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, - for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.
9 The inheritance of the sons of Simeon was taken from the portion of the sons of Judah, for the share of the sons of Judah was too large for them; so the sons of Simeon received an inheritance in the midst of (d)Judah’s inheritance.
9 Out of the portion of the children of Judah was the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.
9 The inheritance of Simeon’s descendants was within the territory of Judah’s descendants, because the share for Judah’s descendants was too large for them. So Simeon’s descendants received an inheritance within Judah’s portion.
9 The inheritance of the tribe of Simeon was contained in part of the territory of Judah; that is, because the portion allotted to the tribe of Judah was large enough for both tribes, the tribe of Simeon obtained an inheritance within that of Judah.
10 Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, - and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.
10 Now the third lot came up for the sons of Zebulun according to their families. And the territory of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.

11 And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, - and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;
11 Then their border went up to the west and to Maralah, it then (e)touched Dabbesheth and reached to the (f)brook that is before Jokneam.
11 And their border went up toward the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that is before Jokneam;
11 their border went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam.
11 then turned westward toward Maralah, proceeding to Dabbesheth, and then to the valley that is east of Jokneam.
12 and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, - and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;
12 Then it turned from Sarid to the east toward the sunrise as far as the border of Chisloth-tabor, and it proceeded to Daberath and (g)up to Japhia.
12 And turned from Sarid eastward toward the sunrising unto the border of Chislothtabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,
12 From Sarid, it turned east toward the sunrise along the border of Chisloth-tabor, went to Daberath, and went up to Japhia.

13 and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, - and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;

13 And from thence passeth on along on the east to Gittahhepher, to Ittahkazin, and goeth out to Remmonmethoar to Neah;

27 then proceeded east to Beth-dagon. It proceeded to Zebulun and the Iphtah-el Valley, turned north to Beth-emek and Neiel, then proceeded north to Cabul,
29 and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, - then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;
29 The border turned to Ramah and to the fortified city of Tyre; then the border turned to Hosah, and (o)it ended at the sea by the region of (E)Achzib.
29 And then the coast turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the coast turneth to Hosah; and the outgoings thereof are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
29 The boundary then turned to Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre; it turned back to Hosah and ended at the sea, including Mahalab, Achzib,(b)
29 There the boundary turned toward Ramah, reaching to the fortress city of Tyre and turned to Hosah, where it terminated at the Mediterranean Sea.
30 Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, - twenty-two cities, with their villages,

47 When the territory of the Danites slipped out of their control,(e) they went up and fought against Leshem, captured it, and struck it down with the sword. So they took possession of it, lived there, and renamed Leshem after(f) their ancestor Dan.
47 Later, when the descendants of Dan lost their territory, they went up and attacked Leshem. After they captured it and executed its inhabitants, they took possession of it and settled there, renaming the city of Leshem to Dan in memory of their ancestor Dan.
48 This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, - these cities, with their villages.

50 at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, - and he built the city and dwelt therein.
50 In accordance with the (y)command of the Lord they gave him the city for which he asked, (J)Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. So he built the city and (z)settled in it.
50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.

51 These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, - so they made an end of apportioning the land.
51 (K)These are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the (aa)households of the tribes of the sons of Israel distributed by lot in Shiloh before the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting. So they finished dividing the land.
51 These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
51 These were the portions that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families distributed to the Israelite tribes by lot at Shiloh in the Lord’s presence at the entrance to the tent of meeting.(E) So they finished dividing up the land.
