Someday Jehovah will wipe out all of your enemies. Then if I am still alive, please be as kind to me as Jehovah has been. But if I am dead, be kind to my family.

Promise me with Jehovah as your witness, that you will not destroy my descendants. Let them live to keep my family name alive.

For how can it be possible for me to see the evil that is to overtake my nation? How may I see the destruction of my people?
