A Call To Persevere

²⁰ But, you dearly loved ones, build yourselves up [spiritually] on [the foundation of] your most sacred faith; pray in [the power of] the Holy Spirit. ²¹ Keep yourselves in God's love [i.e., continue to love God], as you look forward to [receiving] the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, [who will grant you] never ending life. ²² And you should show pity toward some people because they have doubts [regarding spiritual matters];
