For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.

Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will

ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.

Pulling

“I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
And you were like a firebrand snatched from a blaze;
Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the Lord.

The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the Lord who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”

If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Hating

“When a garment has a mark of leprosy in it, whether it is a wool garment or a linen garment,

Likewise, whoever lies down in the house shall wash his clothes, and whoever eats in the house shall wash his clothes.

As for any garment or any leather on which there is seminal emission, it shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening.

For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

They wandered, blind, in the streets;
They were defiled with blood
So that no one could touch their garments.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and standing before the angel.

I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people;

Do not be deceived: “Bad company corrupts good morals.”

If anyone does not obey our instruction

in this letter, take special note of that person

and do not associate with him, so that he will be put to shame.

But you have a few

people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.
