Israel's Affliction

¹¹ He forced me off my way and tore me to pieces;
He left me desolate.
¹² He strung His bow
and set me as the target for His arrow. ¹³ ה HeHe pierced my kidneys
with His arrows.

If I have sinned, what have I done to You,
Watcher of mankind?
Why have You made me Your target,
so that I have become a burden to You?

For Your arrows have sunk into me,
and Your hand has pressed down on me.
