'Bow' in the Bible
I have placed My bow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.
Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the bow appears in the clouds,
The bow will be in the clouds, and I will look at it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all the living creatures on earth.”
Take your hunting gear, your quiver and bow, and go out in the field to hunt some game for me.
May peoples serve youand nations bow down to you.Be master over your brothers;may your mother’s sons bow down to you.Those who curse you will be cursed,and those who bless you will be blessed.

This is what the Lord says:The products of Egypt and the merchandise of Cushand the Sabeans, men of stature,will come over to youand will be yours;they will follow you,they will come over in chainsand bow down to you.They will confess to you:God is indeed with you, and there is no other;there is no other God.

This is what the Lord of Hosts says:I am about to shatter Elam’s bow,the source of their might.
Summon the archers to Babylon,all who string the bow;camp all around her; let none escape.Repay her according to her deeds;just as she has done, do the same to her,for she has acted arrogantly against the Lord,against the Holy One of Israel.

They turn, but not to what is above;they are like a faulty bow.Their leaders will fall by the swordbecause of the cursing of their tongue.They will be ridiculed for this in the land of Egypt.
I will remove your carved imagesand sacred pillars from youso that you will not bow down againto the work of your hands.
