Israel's Affliction

³⁸ Doesn't both calamity and good come out of the mouth of the Most High? ³⁹ Why does a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins? ⁴⁰ Let us examine and search our ways, and return to the LORD.

Sin

Micah 7:9

I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my case, and executes judgment for me. He will bring me forth to the light. I will see his righteousness.

Proverbs 19:3
