2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘When any man has a bodily discharge, his discharge is unclean.
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘(A)When any man has a discharge from his (a)body, (b)his discharge is unclean.
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man hath a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
2 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any man has a discharge(A) from his body, he is unclean.
2 "Tell the Israelis that when a man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean,
3 This shall be [the law concerning] his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body allows its discharge to flow or obstructs its flow; it is uncleanness in him.
3 This, moreover, shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: it is his uncleanness whether his body allows its discharge to flow or whether his body obstructs its discharge.
3 And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
3 This is uncleanness of his discharge: Whether his body secretes the discharge or retains it, he is unclean. All the days that his body secretes or retains anything because of his discharge,(a) he is unclean.(b)
3 and this is the cause of his uncleanness his discharge. Whether his body is releasing the discharge or his body has stopped the discharge, he's unclean.
4 Every bed on which the one who has the discharge lies becomes unclean, and everything on which he sits becomes unclean.
4 Every bed on which the person with the discharge lies becomes unclean, and everything on which he sits becomes unclean.
4 Every bed, whereon he lieth that hath the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sitteth, shall be unclean.
4 Any bed the man with the discharge lies on will be unclean, and any furniture he sits on will be unclean.
4 Every bed on which he lies down with the discharge is to be considered unclean, and every object on which he sits becomes unclean.
5 Whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening;
5 Anyone, moreover, who touches his bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening;
5 And whosoever toucheth his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
5 Anyone who touches his bed is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.

6 and whoever sits on anything on which the man with the discharge has been sitting shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
6 and whoever sits on the thing on which the man with the discharge has been sitting, shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
6 And he that sitteth on any thing whereon he sat that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
6 Whoever sits on furniture that the man with the discharge was sitting on is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
6 Whoever sits on any object on which the one with the discharge has sat is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
7 Also whoever touches the man with the discharge shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.

8 And if he who has the discharge spits on one who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
8 Or if the man with the discharge spits on one who is clean, he too shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
8 And if he that hath the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
8 If the man with the discharge spits on anyone who is clean, he is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
8 Whoever has a discharge and spits on someone who is clean, then he is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
10 Whoever touches anything that has been under him shall be unclean until evening; and whoever carries those things shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening.
10 Whoever then touches any of the things which were under him shall be unclean until evening, and he who carries them shall wash his clothes and bathe in water and be unclean until evening.

11 And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
11 If the man with the discharge touches anyone without first rinsing his hands in water,(C) the person who was touched is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
11 "Anyone whom the one with the discharge touches without rinsing his hands with water is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
12 An earthenware container that the one with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every wooden container shall be rinsed in water.
12 However, an (B)earthenware vessel which the person with the discharge touches shall be broken, and every wooden vessel shall be rinsed in water.
12 And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
12 Any clay pot that the man with the discharge touches must be broken, while any wooden utensil must be rinsed with water.(D)
12 The earthen vessel that the person with the discharge touches is to be broken in pieces, and every wooden vessel is to be rinsed with water."
13 ‘When the man with the discharge becomes cleansed from his discharge, he shall count off seven days for his purification; he shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in running water and will become clean.
13 ‘Now when the man with the discharge becomes cleansed from his discharge, then he (C)shall count off for himself seven days for his cleansing; he shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in (d)running water and will become clean.
13 And when he that hath an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
13 “When the man with the discharge has been cured of it, he is to count seven days for his cleansing, wash his clothes, and bathe his body in fresh water; he will be clean.
13 "When the one with the discharge is cleansed from his discharge, then he is to set aside for himself seven days for his cleansing. He is to wash his clothes and bathe with flowing water. Then he will be clean.
14 On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before the Lord to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest;
14 Then on the eighth day he shall take for himself (D)two turtledoves or two young pigeons, and come before the Lord to the doorway of the tent of meeting and give them to the priest;
14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
14 He must take two turtledoves or two young pigeons on the eighth day, come before the Lord at the entrance to the tent of meeting, and give them to the priest.
14 On the eighth day, he is to take for himself two turtledoves or two young doves, bring them to the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest.
15 and the priest shall offer them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering. So the priest shall make atonement for the man before the Lord because of his discharge.
15 and the priest shall offer them, (E)one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering. So (F)the priest shall make atonement on his behalf before the Lord because of his discharge.
15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
15 The priest is to sacrifice them, one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.(E) In this way the priest will make atonement for him before the Lord because of his discharge.
15 Then the priest is to offer them one for a sin offering and the other for a whole burnt offering. That's how the priest will make atonement for him in the LORD's presence regarding his discharge."
16 ‘Now if any man has a seminal emission, he shall wash all his body in water, and be unclean until evening.
16 ‘(G)Now if a (e)man has a seminal emission, he shall bathe all his body in water and be unclean until evening.
16 And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
16 “When a man has an emission of semen,(F) he is to bathe himself completely with water, and he will remain unclean until evening.
16 "If a man has a seminal emission, he is to bathe his entire body with water and remain unclean until evening.
17 Every garment and every leather on which there is semen shall be washed with water, and shall be unclean until evening.
17 As for any garment or any leather on which there is seminal emission, it shall be washed with water and be unclean until evening.
17 And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
17 Any clothing or leather on which there is an emission of semen must be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening.
17 Every garment (including leather) on which the semen is found is to be washed with water, and it will remain unclean until evening.
18 If a man lies with a woman so that there is a seminal emission, they shall both bathe in water and be unclean until evening.
18 If a man lies with a woman so that there is a seminal emission, they shall both bathe in water and be (H)unclean until evening.
18 The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

18 When a man has sexual relations with a woman and the man releases semen, both are to bathe with water, and they will remain unclean until evening."
19 ‘When a woman has a discharge, if her bodily discharge is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.
19 ‘(I)When a woman has a discharge, if her discharge in her body is blood, she shall continue in her menstrual impurity for seven days; and whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening.
19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.
19 “When a woman has a discharge, and it consists of blood from her body, she will be unclean because of her menstruation(H) for seven days. Everyone who touches her will be unclean until evening.
19 "When a woman has a discharge, and the blood is her monthly menstrual discharge from her body, then for seven days she is to remain in her menstrual uncleanness. Whoever touches her will remain unclean until evening.
20 Everything on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean; and everything on which she sits shall be unclean.

24 If a man actually lies with her so that her menstrual impurity is on him, he shall be unclean for seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
24 (J)If a man actually lies with her so that her menstrual impurity is on him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean.
24 And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lieth shall be unclean.
24 If a man sleeps with her, and blood from her menstruation gets on him, he will be unclean for seven days, and every bed he lies on will become unclean.(I)
24 When a man has sexual relations with her and her menstrual uncleanness touches him, he will be unclean for seven days. Every bed where he sleeps will remain unclean.
25 ‘Now if a woman has a flow of blood for many days, not during the time of her menstruation, or if she has a discharge beyond that period, as long as the impure discharge continues she shall be as she is in the days of her [normal] menstrual impurity; she is unclean.(A)
25 ‘(K)Now if a woman has a discharge of her blood many days, not at the period of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond (f)that period, all the days of her impure discharge she shall continue as though (g)in her menstrual impurity; she is unclean.
25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
25 “When a woman has a discharge of her blood for many days, though it is not the time of her menstruation, or if she has a discharge beyond her period, she will be unclean all the days of her unclean discharge, as she is during the days of her menstruation.
25 "When a woman has a continuous discharge of blood many days beyond the time of her menstrual uncleanness, or if she has a discharge that lasts beyond the days of her menstrual uncleanness, her uncleanness is to be treated like the days of her menstruation she's unclean.
26 Every bed on which she lies during the time of her discharge shall be to her like the bed of her menstrual impurity, and whatever she sits on shall be unclean, like the uncleanness of her monthly period.
26 Any bed on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her like (h)her bed at menstruation; and every thing on which she sits shall be unclean, like (i)her uncleanness at that time.
26 Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.

31 “Thus you shall (a)separate the Israelites from their uncleanness, so that they do not die in their uncleanness by their defiling My tabernacle that is among them.”
31 “Thus you shall keep the sons of Israel separated from their uncleanness, so that they will not die in their uncleanness by their (M)defiling My (j)tabernacle that is among them.”
31 Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
31 “You must keep the Israelites from their uncleanness, so that they do not die by defiling My tabernacle(K) that is among them.
31 "So separate the Israelis from their uncleanness so that they won't die in their uncleanness if they defile my tent that is in their midst.
32 This is the law for the one who has a discharge and for the one who has a seminal emission, so that he is unclean by it;
32 This is the law for the one with a discharge, and for the man (k)who has a seminal emission so that he is unclean by it,
32 This is the law of him that hath an issue, and of him whose seed goeth from him, and is defiled therewith;
32 This is the law for someone with a discharge: a man who has an emission of semen, becoming unclean by it;
32 These are the regulations for one whose discharge of semen causes him to become unclean because of it,
33 and for the woman who is ill because of her monthly period, and for the one who has a discharge, whether man or woman, or for a man who lies with a woman who is [ceremonially] unclean.
33 and for the woman who is ill because of menstrual impurity, and for the one who has a discharge, whether a male or a female, or a man who lies with an unclean woman.
33 And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that hath an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lieth with her that is unclean.
33 a woman who is in her menstrual period; anyone who has a discharge, whether male or female; and a man who sleeps with an unclean woman.”
33 for her whose menstruation causes her to become ill, for anyone who has a discharge (whether male or female), and for the man who has sexual relations with one who is unclean."
