Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Now in those days a decree went out from
Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.
Do I have any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God, “ rather than that he should turn from his ways and live?
Say to them, ‘
As I live!’ declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’
“See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.
The angel said to the women, “
Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.
But during the night
an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and taking them out he said,
the ninth hour of the day he clearly saw in a vision an angel of God who had just come in and said to him, “Cornelius!”
Are they not all
ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels
around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,
For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little.”
I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
2 Chronicles 33:13
When he prayed to Him,
He was moved by his entreaty and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.
So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.
When they heard this, they
quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.”
2 Corinthians 7:10
For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a
repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.
