¹⁴ And the Pharisees heard all these things, being avaricious: and they derided him. ¹⁵ And he said to them, Ye are they justifying yourselves before men; and God knows your hearts: for the high with men is abomination before God. ¹⁶ The law and the prophets until John: from then the kingdom of God announces good news, and every one is forced into it.
