²⁴ for like lightning that flashes from one side of the sky to the other, so will the Son of man be on his own day. ²⁵ But he must first endure great suffering and be rejected by the present generation. ²⁶ And just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man;

Matthew 16:21
