A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

the people who sat in darkness saw a great light; and on those who sat in the region and shadow of death, even on them hath the light arisen."

For so hath the Lord enjoined us, "I have set thee for a light of the Gentiles, that thou mightest be for salvation unto the extremity of the earth."

Be it known therefore unto you, that to the Gentiles is the salvation of God sent, and they will hear.

Now I say that Jesus Christ was the minister of circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:

that, as it is written, "He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine upon it: for the glory of God illuminates it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.

and all flesh shall see the salvation of God."
