when Joseph and his mother saw him, great was their surprize: and his mother said to him, son, why did you leave us thus? your father and I have been looking for you with great concern.

Then Jesus entered into the temple of God, drove out all those that sold and bought in the temple, overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the stalls of those that sold doves,

away with these things; make not my father's house a market-house.

Jesus said to them, my meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

But Jesus answered them, my father works without intermission, and so do I.

for I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

he that sent me, is with me: the father hath not left me alone, for I always do what is agreeable to him.

I must perform the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night is coming, when no man can work.
