for the Son of man goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed.

AND Jesus took the twelve aside, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and all things written by the prophets concerning the Son of man will be finished.

And he said to them, These are my words which I spoke to you while I was yet with you, that all things written in the law of Moses, and Prophets, and Psalms, concerning me, must be fully accomplished.

How then would the Scriptures be accomplished, that it must be so?

If he called them gods to whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken,

After this, Jesus knowing that all things were already finished, that the Scripture might be fully accomplished, said, I thirst.

For those living at Jerusalem, and their rulers, not knowing him and the words of the prophets which are read every sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning [him];
