Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham for our father; for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

They answered him, We are Abraham's seed, and we have never served anyone; how sayest thou, Ye shall be set free?

but I announced first unto those of Damascus and at Jerusalem and throughout all the coasts of Judaea and then to the Gentiles that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

Therefore by faith, that it might be by grace, to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to that which is of the law, but also to that which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

and command them, saying, Take from here of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones, and ye shall carry them over with you and leave them in the lodging place, where ye shall lodge this night.

Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil;

Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, who call yourselves by the name of Israel, those that are come forth out of the waters of Judah, those who swear by the name of the LORD and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

Do not trust in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD are these.

Again, when the wicked man leaves his wickedness that he has committed and lives according to judgment and righteousness, he shall cause his soul to live.

But I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west and shall sit down at the table with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a people bringing forth the fruits thereof.

In that place shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth when ye shall see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

and in Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torments, and saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom.

And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that if these should be silent, the stones would immediately cry out.

They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus said unto them, If ye were Abraham's sons, ye would do the works of Abraham.

neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are all sons, but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, of which there is no need to repented; but the sorrow of the world works death.

Here there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

But the fruit of the Spirit is this: Charity, joy, peace, tolerance, gentleness, goodness, faith,

being filled with fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it and brings forth herbs in season for those by whom it is dressed receives blessing from God;
