But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

Then they took up stones to cast at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple.

Then they sought again to take him by force; and he escaped out of their hand.

When, therefore, he said to them, I am he, they went backwards and fell on the ground.

And when it was day there was no small stir among the soldiers as to what had become of Peter.
