When he had said this he breathed upon them and said:

For the unbelieving husband is consecrated through union with his believing wife; and the unbelieving wife, through union with her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unholy, but now they are consecrated to God.

And you fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up in the nature and admonition of the Lord.

he should be a man who rules his own household well, and keeps his children ever under control and thoroughly well behaved.

But each man is tempted by his own lusts that allure and entice him.
