Jesus Calls His First Disciples

¹⁹ He went on a little farther and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John; they too were in their boat putting their nets in order. ²⁰ He immediately called them. And they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and went off after him. ²¹ They proceeded to Capernaum, and on the very first Sabbath he went to the synagogue and taught.
