³² And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going before them. And they were being amazed: and those following Him were being terrified. And, again taking with Him the twelve, He began to tell them the things about to happen to Him: ³³  "Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be delivered up to the high priests, and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will deliver Him up to the gentiles; ³⁴ and they will mock Him and will spit upon Him, and will scourge Him, and will kill Him; and after three days He will rise again."
