Jesus Predicts His Death And Resurrection A Third Time

³³ now, said he, we are going to Jerusalem, where the son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests, and to the Scribes, who will condemn him to die, and deliver him to the Gentiles. ³⁴ they will treat him with ignominy, subject him to the lash, spit upon him, and at last put him to death. but on the third day he will rise again. ³⁵ Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him, and said, we desire you would grant us what we request.
