now it was the third hour of the day, when they crucified him,

Now from the sixth hour the whole land was cover'd with darkness until the ninth hour.

it was then about the sixth hour of the day before the sabbath of the passover: and he said to the Jews, behold your king.

these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is but the third hour of the day.
