And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

Hear! behold a sower went out to sow;

And he spoke to them many things in parables, saying; Behold, a sower went out to sow;

A sower went out to sow his seed; and in his sowing, some fell by the way, and was trodden down, and the birds of heaven devoured it;

Already he that reaps receives wages and gathers fruit for life eternal, that he that sows and he that reaps may rejoice together.

I tell you most truly, that unless the kernel of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it continues alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused [the seed] to grow;

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace to those who make peace.

having been born again, not from destructible seed but from indestructible, through the word of God which lives and endures.

But when the stalk grew up and bore fruit, then the poisonous darnel appeared.

but God gives it a body as he pleases, and to each of the grains its own body.
