Herod Kills John The Baptist

¹⁴ And king Herod heard of him (for his name was spread abroad), and he said, John the Baptizer hath risen from the dead, and therefore do these powers work in him. But others said, It is Elijah. ¹⁵ And others said, It is a prophet, as one of the prophets. ¹⁶ But Herod hearing of it said, John, whom I beheaded, hath risen again.
