25 whose child was possessed by an evil spirit, having heard of Him, came and fell at his feet, 26 (now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation,) and she besought Him to cast out the demon from her daughter. 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be satisfied: for it is not fit to take the children's bread, and throw it to the dogs.
