Treasury of Scripture Knowledge
And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
“ He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me;
Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them.”
“ Whoever receives one child like this in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me does not receive Me, but Him who sent Me.”
And as for those who do not receive you, as you go out from that city, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”
1 Thessalonians 4:8
So, he who rejects this is not rejecting man but the God who
gives His Holy Spirit to you.
also shook out the front of my garment and said, “Thus may God shake out every man from his house and from his possessions who does not fulfill this promise; even thus may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said, “Amen!” And they praised the Lord. Then the people did according to this promise.
they shook off the dust of their feet in protest against them and went to Iconium.
But when they resisted and blasphemed, he
shook out his garments and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am clean. From now on I will go to the Gentiles.”
testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.
