And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples
devising a vain thing?
And the peoples
But someone came and reported to them, “The men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!”
Now about that time
Herod the king laid hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them.
When these had come to
Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.
2 Timothy 4:16
At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me;
may it not be counted against them.
And Jesus *said to him,
“ See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
“But be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.
2 Timothy 1:8
do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,
I, John, your brother and fellow partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and perseverance which are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.
When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw

When they have finished their testimony,
the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.
When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say;
As Paul was about to be brought into
the barracks, he said to the commander, “May I say something to you?” And he *said, “Do you know Greek?
Agrippa said to Festus, “I also would like to hear the man myself.” “Tomorrow,” he *said, “you shall hear him.”
