Matthew 12:33

Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.

For there is no good tree which bears bad fruit, nor, again, a bad tree which bears good fruit.

You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorns? or figs from thistles?

continue in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it continues in the vine, so you cannot, unless you continue in me.

Bear fruit, therefore, worthy of a change of mind;

Blind Pharisee! cleanse first that which is in the cup and platter, that its outside may be clean also.

And already also the axe lies at the root of the trees; every tree therefore which bears not good fruit, is cut down and cast into the fire.

And the Lord said to him, Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and plate, but your inside is full of plunder and wickedness.

Can a fig tree, my brothers, produce olives, or a vine, figs? So you cannot make salt water sweet.

draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, sinners, purify your hearts, double-minded.
