Matthew 12:48

But he answered the man who told him, "Who is my mother and who are my brothers?"

"He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;

Now a crowd was sitting round him and they told him, "See! your mother and your brothers and sisters are outside, wanting to see you."

He answered, "Why is it that you have been looking for me, did you not realize that I had to be in my Father's house?"

And Jesus was ever advancing in wisdom and in status and in favor with God and man.

And when the wine ran short, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no wine."

Therefore henceforth I know no one simply as a man??ven if I have known Christ as a man, yet now I do so no longer.

Then his mother and his brothers came up, and standing outside, they sent a messenger to him to call him.

There came to him his mother and his brothers, and they could not reach him because of the crowd.

"No, rather," he answered, "blessed are those who listen to the word of God, and keep it."
