Then he made the disciples embark in the boat and cross before him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowds;

Now when he went indoors away from the crowd, his disciples asked him the meaning of this parabolic saying.

So some of his disciples said to one another, "What does he mean by telling us, 'In a little while, you will behold me no longer; then, after a little, you shall see me'? and, 'I go to the Father'?"
