Herod Kills John The Baptist

⁸ And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John the Baptist's head in a platter. ⁹ Although he was grieved, the king commanded it to be given because of his oaths, and because of his dinner guests. ¹⁰ And he sent and beheaded John in the prison.
