1 Samuel 9:13
As soon as you enter the city you will find him before he goes up to the high place to eat, for the people will not eat until he comes, because
he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those who are invited will eat. Now therefore, go up for you will find him at once.”
And when He had taken some bread and
given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
When He had reclined at the table with them, He took the bread and
blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them.
Jesus then took the loaves, and
having given thanks, He distributed to those who were seated; likewise also of the fish as much as they wanted.
Having said this, he took bread and
gave thanks to God in the presence of all, and he broke it and began to eat.
He who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and he who eats,
does so for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who eats not, for the Lord he does not eat, and gives thanks to God.
