And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And behold, one of those with Jesus, stretching out his hand, drew his sword, and striking the servant of the chief priest cut off his ear.

And he spoke this word plainly; and Peter taking hold of him, rebuked him.

Then he came to Simon Peter; he said to him, Lord, do you wash my feet?

and coming to us, and taking Paul's girdle, and binding his hands and feet, he said, These things, says the Holy Spirit; Thus will the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owns this girdle, and deliver him into the hands of the gentiles.
